Procore integration with Sage Intacct: what syncs and what doesn't

deltaV engineering · 6 Oct 2026

Procore has its own integration with Sage Intacct. It syncs jobs, vendors, cost codes, budgets, commitments, change orders and subcontractor invoices, with an accounting approver signing off each export. It has documented limits: projects started before the connection, cost code formats, owner invoices. Use the connector; build only for the gaps it leaves.

01

The Procore Sage Intacct connector

Procore builds and lists its own Sage Intacct Construction connector. From Procore's documentation, checked October 2026:

  • Requires the Web Services and Construction subscriptions in Sage Intacct. Sage may charge for them.
  • Approval. Every export to Sage Intacct is approved by a designated accounting approver in Procore.
  • Timing. Exports go on approval. Imports run when your team requests them.
  • Region. Availability depends on your country. Ask Procore.

Documented limits

  • Old projects. Projects in progress or created before the connection can't be synced.
  • Cost codes. Must be sectioned, with no mix of tiers or delimiters, unique names and categories turned on. New codes are created in Sage Intacct, not Procore.
  • Owner invoices. Integrated owner invoices and their payments aren't supported.
  • Commitments in. Commitments can't be imported from Sage Intacct to Procore.
  • Vendors. Insurance details are managed by hand in both. Address changes don't sync after linking.
  • Entities. Companies must be created at the top level, not the entity level.

All from Procore's own pages above, October 2026.

04

Where the gaps show up day to day

  • Before Procore. Sub and supplier invoices arrive as PDFs and get keyed in.
  • Matching. Checking the invoice against the subcontract, retainage and change orders.
  • Paperwork. Lien waivers and insurance certificates chased by hand.
  • Reporting. WIP and job cost rebuilt in Excel from both systems.

05

Filling the gaps with a custom layer

  1. Read. Pull invoices from the shared AP inbox.
  2. Match. Check against the commitment in Procore. Flag differences.
  3. Approve. Through your existing approval chain.
  4. Hand off. Let the connector carry what it supports. Write only what it doesn't.
  5. Confirm. Check Sage Intacct accepted the record and keep its reference.

Each system keeps its own records. deltaV builds and hosts the layer for a monthly retainer; your data stays yours. Same pattern with QuickBooks: Procore and QuickBooks. On reading invoices: invoice processing automation. How we map handoffs: workflow automation.

The AP invoice intake prototype shows invoices read, matched and approved, with sample data.

Questions

Direct answers

Does Procore integrate with Sage Intacct?

Yes. Procore lists a Procore-built Sage Intacct Construction connector on its App Marketplace. It needs the Web Services and Construction subscriptions in Sage Intacct (Procore documentation, October 2026).

Can we connect projects already in progress?

Not through the standard connector. Procore's documentation says in-progress or pre-existing projects can't be synced, and offers paid professional services for them (October 2026).

What does a custom layer around the connector cost?

It depends on complexity and the business case. Book a call and bring an invoice that took too long.
